Coming from a compassionate position, we will explore your story, your needs and your hopes and dreams for the future.
I work using a very integrative approach: Mindfulness; Narrative; Compassionate Inquiry; DBT; Trauma Informed, Recovery, Gottman; IFS... these are all modalities and through the course of our work together - I will integrate the best model for the best result in our session.
I believe in you... Trust me, things are going to be okay... Your decision to reach out is the most important step of all.

Sessions are $120 (plus GST) for a 50 minute session.  You will receive an invoice the day of service. I also send monthly receipts with itemized payments for your records.

Virtual vs In Person Therapy?

The COVID era has shown that virtual therapy is as helpful as in person therapy. From the comfort of your home, vehicle, a park bench... you will experience a session that allows you to be seen, heard and cared for. Clients report a sense of connection that is integral to a healthy and productive therapeutic relationship.

I offer virtual therapy, and in person sessions in the wonderful space at Safe Harbour Therapy. Reach out and we will book your preference.

Can I claim therapy through my private benefits?

This is a common question. The answer is yes... and no. Please reach out to your insurance provider, many of whom offer support for mental health care services. As an MMFT, I provide receipts for our sessions; am insured for private practice therapy; supervised by a registered Marriage and Family Therapy supervisor; and a registered  member of the CAMFT (Canadian Association of Marriage & Family Therapists)
